Would you like to be involved in a Community Garden
We are hoping to start the process of creating a Community Garden for Kallaroo. We've contacted our Local Councillor Phillip Vinciullo who is happy to support a group of residents who would like to get a community garden going. Padbury has recently opened their Community Garden so we can look to their experience to create one for Kallaroo, it will take time but we think it will be worth it. Padbury Community Garden has a Padbury Community Garden Facebook and Padbury Community Garden Instagram pages if you're interested in how they have created their garden.
There is also Community Gardens Australia who are a networking organisation connecting community gardeners around Australia and have a lot of information on how to start a garden.
If we can get some positive momentum going a Community Garden can be run independently from our Association or as part of our Association - whatever works!
