Helping those experiencing Hardship and/or Homelessness

We have all seen that homelessness is increasing in our area and Kallaroo Residents Association has been talking to the Joondalup Wanneroo Ending Homelessness Group about how residents can help. The City has a great page with useful info, contact numbers etc and there is free access to the internet at our libraries – https://www.joondalup.wa.gov.au/kb/resident/homelessness-3

Help and support can be found from WA Connect and Entry Point Perth.

WA Connectwww.waconnect.org.au An online Emergency Relief directory for people in hardship and/or experiencing homelessness. You type in a location/suburb and choose the type of service you want to know about.

Entry Point Perth, Phone: 6496 0001 or 1800 124 684 or www.entrypointperth.com.au Entry Point Perth is a free assessment and referral service assisting people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Western Australia to access accommodation and support options.

Winter is a particularly difficult time if there is no roof over your head. We are attending the next meeting of the Joondalup Wanneroo Ending Homelessness Group to get involved – contact our Chairperson if you could like to be involved.
