Action taken on hooning issues in Kallaroo

DOES YOUR STREET HAVE A HOON PROBLEM?

Following several complaints received from residents, Kallaroo Residents’ Association met with our State Representative and Shadow Minister for Police, Peter Katsambanis MLA and our local Councillor Chris May about the increasing hooning issues we are having in our area. Peter has offered to discuss the issue with our local police and ask that they consider what action they can take to help our community with this issue. We will keep our members up-to-date via our monthly newsletter on any progress.

What can residents do?
Ensure that you report all hooning:
Via the Report a Hoon online form https://www.police.wa.gov.au/Police-Direct/Traffic

What to report:
– Description of behaviour, e.g. speeding, drag racing, burnouts, etc.
– Description of driver
– Day and time of behaviour
– Location of behaviour
– Vehicle registration

– Vehicle colour

Or if you require immediate police attendance call 131 444
